Summer Outdoor Learning

AYLC’s efforts inspire curiosity and personal growth in youth. Our Summer theme was “No Kids Left Inside,” which reflects AYLC’s dedication to outdoor experiences. Our organization shows up for its youth by taking them on weekly hikes across the picturesque Puget Sound region. These outdoor adventures serve as a platform for participants to connect with nature whilst fostering a profound appreciation for the environment. We fostered growth by inviting our youth to field trips on environmental sciences and ended our summer program with a fall camping trip dedicated to expanding their horizon.
